In spite of the vicious beatings this man had endured, and with full knowledge of the brutal violence awaiting him should he continue; the determination and resolve this man shows is a testament to the courage and bravery that mankind is capable of when fully confident in the virtue of their goal and the justice it will bring.

I agree with the comment that you blew this interview. You were in polite and professional you were unorganized, and you tried to place judgment on him or insinuate that he should’ve done more at this young man he possibly could do how do you even try to intervene or do more he would’ve been tortured killed and found in that river along with Emmett Till. This gentleman is a hero and became a hero at 18 years old and left a whole life behind to do it. And you’re referring to him as dude ??? interview any individual? They’re not subjects the persons that deserve to be interviewed and addressed with respect because remember they don’t have to be granting you that interview.

Wow!!!! The interview of this God fearing woman exceeds any historical interview I’ve ever seen! The part where God spoke to her concerning her son “ Shook” me and chills went up my spine!! Blessings to this powerful woman, and it’s no doubt in my mind that God has her with him! And “her beloved son “Emmett Till” God is real and he’s not mocked , whatever you sow that shall you reap!! What she had to endure is not by any stretch of the imagination for the weak!! Only Jesus could have carried her from the death of her son all the way to her departure from this side!! The Lord is real .. he’s a God of justice, and he will never leave you nor forsake you. What an awesome God we serve !!
